Teshuva Me'ahava Responsa - Handwritten Comment and Signature of Rav Mordechai Ashiu, the Shaliach D'robonon of Safed (Tzefat)/ Rubbed Out Handwritten Dedication with Author's Signature.
Teshuva Me'ahava Responsa by Rav Elazar Fleckeles, Av Beis Din of Prague, Volumes 1-2. Prague 5569-5575.
On title page of volume 2 is an almost completely rubbed out handwritten dedication and signature by the author, in print-style handwriting.
In volume 1 page 85, 1 is a h andwritten comment signed by Rav Mordechai Ashiu - Who received the sefer from the author. On last page of volume 2 is an addition of two words, presumably in author's handwriting.
Rav Mordechai Ashiu author of Higid Mordechai Responsa (Salonika 5605) one of the sages of Salonika, who settled in Jerusalem, traveled in Europe for many years as meshulach for the holy city of Tzefas. Passed away in Jerusalem 5598. Wrote back and forth to Rav Shmuel Landau, Av Beis Din of Prague. See "Shivas Tzion" siman 18-20. (Shluchey Eretz Yisrael, page 670)
