Pesach Had'vir: Dedication from the Author - the Gaon Rav Chaim Binyamin Pontrimoly
Pesach Had'vir on the Orach Chaim Section of the Shulchan Aruch, Volume 2, by the Great Rav Chaim Binyamin Pontrimoly from Izmir.
Handwritten dedication by the author on title page:
To the Kollelos of Kehilas Kodesh אי רודיס, may Hashem watch over them, amen, from me, the author, ס"ט" (an abbreviation customarily added to signatures, meaning "from dust and ashes").
The Gaon Rav Chaim Binyamin Pontrimoly , author of Pesach Had'vir, of the great sages of Turkey, and of the "lions" in the group of Rabbonim from Izmir of his generation. He acted as Dayan in the Beis Din of Rav Chaim Palag'i. His four volumes of Pesach Had'vir serve as essential sefarim in the Sephardi Halachik literature.
