On the 23 of Adar, 5684, Rav Kook Set Out Towards the United States, Heading a Delegation of Rabbonim Together with the Gaon Rav Avraham Dov Ber Kahana Shapira, Av Beis Din of קובנא, Author of D'var Avraham, and Rav Moshe Mordechai Epshtein, Av Beis Din and Rosh Yeshiva of Slabodka. Their Aim was to Collect Funds to Save the Yeshivos of Lithuania. The Delegation Stayed in the United States Until the Winter of 5685.
