Novellae on the Torah and Gemara, by the Gaon Rav Shmuel Shindlinger - Selir, Rav and Av Beis Din of Lviv The author was known in his time as an outstanding Gaon, and in his sefer there are many sharp, genius novellae. Among the greatest of his students was Harav Hakadosh, Rav Aryeh Leib Malentzhot. There are variances in the approbations among the different manuscripts; in this copy there are only three approbations.
