A tall carved wood and animal hide drum with zoomorphic images carved in relief. Senufo peoples, Ivory Coast / or Mali, West Africa. The Drum still has a playable sound and measures 30 inches tall x 11 inches wide. Provenance: Ex Frank Friedeman Collection, New York.
