Fine Senufo Deble Female Sculpture
A very finely carved wooden female effigy with a beautiful polished surface. Such sculptures are also known as Deble, or Rhythm Pounders. This sculpture measures 44.5 inches tall on professional wooden base, the original feet or base was likely worn away and was cut off. Provenance: A Private New York City collection.
Condition: fair, areas of erosion
