A German clarinet unearthed in the dugout.
Germany. Until 1941, the case bears the inscription "O. Nürnberger Markneukirchen".
The body of the clarinet, a reed musical instrument invented in Bavaria at the turn of the XVII-XVIII centuries, was made exclusively of wood. Moreover, the inimitable and expressive sound of this seemingly simple at first glance cylindrical pipe, the mechanism of which consists of many valves, screws and rods, can only be obtained by turning it from valuable wood species.
Condition: The presented tool is in non-working condition, the case is also damaged.
