Item/Description: Signed artists proof edition lithograph, depicting an interior scene of iconic figures and Native Americans eating a turkey dinner at a table. Pencil signed and titled across bottom: The Holiday / AP / David P. Bradley. Ten figures are seated around the table, including: Georgia O'Keeffe, the Lone Ranger, Tonto, Mona Lisa, and Superman. Through the open window, there is an expansive desert landscape with mountains in the distance. Inside, a kiva (oven) has a fire burning. In the upper left, a blackbird flies above the group, while a dog sniffs a dollar bill in the lower right.
David Bradley (born 1954) is a Minnesota Chippewa artist. He is known for his sociopolitical critique of contemporary Native American art, and as an artist-activist battling art fraud among other concerns.
