Item/Description: Framed painting depicting two young girls with a large bouquet of calla lilies. Signed lower right: Pina. After Diego Rivera's Vendoras de Alcatraces (Calla Lily Vendors) originally created in 1943. In murals, canvas paintings and watercolors throughout his career, Diego Rivera represented the everyday lives of the indigenous peoples of Mexico. Among his most iconic subjects were calla lily vendors.
