Rabbi Gershon Lapisos (1878-1956) was known for his genius in the Torah and his devotion to it. He studied with Rabbi Yitzchak Yerucham. He was close to the Rebbe of Lelov Rabbi David Biderman. He served as the rabbi of the Beis Yisrael neighborhood in Jerusalem and as a Dayan of the Beis Din of Agudas Yisrael.
