Set of (2) 18th century spoons, Jacob Hurd, Boston, MA, circa 1750, to include: teaspoon with shell back bowl and upturned handle, engraved cross hatched block monogram ''LP'' on back, 4-1/2''l, (wear to shell design and slight wear to tip); and a dessert spoon having egg shaped bowl with shell back and midrib handle, engraved monogram ''IB, to, EI'', 6-1/4''l. Marked ''IH'' in shaped punch with pellet between letters on both spoons. Total approximate weight 1.2 troy oz.
