Single 4to page on one leaf of Woza Afrika Foundation stationery. Sight 9 ½ x 7”. Matted along with a color photo of Fonda in her Barbarella costume. Mat size 16 x 20”. 2 visible horizontal creases on letter, some highlighting of text to letter. Fine. In this letter, Anti-Apartheid activist Fonda reached out to legendary comedian and actor Richard Pryor to solicit his support for the Festival of South African Theater at Lincoln Center from September 10 to October 5, 1986. It is addressed to Pryor through his production company (Indigo Productions) in Burbank, CA. It is signed by Fonda in black marker pen at the lower right corner. With JSA COA certificate (E 12491).
