Contemporary marbled boards, recently rebacked in tan cloth with old leather title label re-laid, renewed endpapers. Original engraved wrappers trimmed and laid down on covers. Hand-colored frontispiece and title vignette, text engravings throughout. 8vo. Board edges rubbed; closed tear to top edge of N2 into text; scattered spotting and chipping to edges.
