A FRENCH ENAMELED COBALT BLUE GLASS JEWELRY BOX, PROBABLY LIMOGES, 19TH CEN.
A fine circular dresser or jewelry box in cobalt blue glass with exceptional enameled and gilt decorations, the lid is painted with a Renaissance scene depicting two gentlemen in a classic interior engaged in a chess match.
Probably Limoges, France, 19th century.
