(18thc) QUEEN ANNE CHERRY BANDY LEG DESK on FRAME
Upper case with crown molding surmounts (2) paneled doors opening to an interesting array of scrolled partitions. Fall front writing surface opens to a stepped-back array of drawers and pigeon holes. Lower case with (4) molded graduating drawers is raised by a molded frame with cyma scrolled apron, cabriole legs and pad feet. 80 x 39 3/4 x 22 1/2 inches. Connecticut circa 1760-1780. Condition: Structurally original. Israel Sack provenance, he replaced the brasses and refinished the case. Wonderful old patina and color. Temp No 6195
