Chinese Enameled Garlic Head Vase - A garlic head enameled pottery vase with a pear-shaped body and a bulbous head. The vase is decorated with raised enamel relief and features a pond flora and fauna motif. Four color enamel decoration in green, yellow and aubergine on cobalt-blue ground. Two stylized animal head mock handles at neck. The underside of foot unglazed with roughened texture. 14 3/8" h. Condition: a few surfaces scratches to exterior at body and shoulder; some bottom wear to foot, some enamel loss and usewear to rim.
