We can tell this watch was actually carried by a soldier, as he inscribed his name and the year 1917 on the inside of the caseback. The dial has two portraits printed on it, one of Kaiser Wilhelm II and one of Paul Von Hindenburg. The outside of the caseback features a German army helmet. This watch is running, but may need to be serviced to keep more accurate time. This watch is from the collection of a lifelong military watch enthusiast.
