This professionally restored Winchester Model 1873 lever action rifle, circa 1888, is in overall very good to ner fine condition displaying approximately 85% black blued finish to the barrel assembly, loading tube, loading port, adjustable rear sight, fixed blade front sight & MSA Co. marked flip-up adjustable tang peep sight, misc. small parts/securing screws plus approximately 95% vivid case colors to the receiver, side plates, lever, butt plate, forend cap, trigger & hammer with brass cartridge elevator. The butt stock is finely grained as restored with an old fissure across both sides of the forward area of the wrist that do not appear to effect the stability of the stock. The forend is good with an approximate 5-1/2" fissure along the front top rail, secured by a piece of gray duct tape. The markings are good, the action is crisp & the bore/rifling are fine.
