This J. Stevens single shot top break shotgun is in very good condition displaying approximately 60% muted case colors to the receiver & hammer w/the barrel assembly presenting approximately 70% uncleaned black blue finish w/scattered pinprick pitting as well as black blued finish to the trigger, trigger guard, barrel release lever, plus misc. small parts/securing screws. The butt stock/forend are finely grained & in overall very good condition (butt plate is a factory black blued checkered gutta percha type piece in good shape. The markings are sharp, the action is crisp & the bore is fine.
