Spanish Modelo 1860 Light Cavalry Trooper's Saber
33.25" blade. 43" overall with hilt and scabbard. Single edge curved blade with 9" false edge, a spear tip, and 25" off center fuller to both sides. Item features a cup guard hilt with grooved leather grip and braided wire wrapping. There does not appear to be any markings on sword or scabbard. Scabbard has double hangers and appears to be missing throat.
This lot is located in Cincinnati.
Condition
Fair. Blade, hilt, and scabbard all have a darkened mottled patina, with scattered pitting and scratching overall.
