Lot of 6 Kukri Daggers Including One with Hippo Head Hilt

1.) Karda/Kukri - 4.5" blade. 6.75" overall. Single edge incurved blade with spear point and cow's hoof notch at base. Hilt appears to be ivory with a brass pommel. Most likely a karda from a larger kukri set.

2.) Kukri with Velvet Scabbard - 7.25" blade. 11.25" overall with scabbard. Single edge incurved blade with offset fullers to both sides and cow's hoof notch at base. Hilt appears to be coin silver with sections of mother of pearl and jade held together with a red/black resin. Pommel of dagger has a lanyard ring to it. Includes a scabbard covered in blue velvet textile. Hilt is missing several pieces of pearl and jade panels.

3.) Barong - 10" blade. 13.5" overall. Single edge incurved blade with straight point. Birds head hardwood hilt with a silver guard.

4.) Yataghan Hilt Kukri - 11.5" blade. 16.75" overall. Single edge incurved blade with pewter bolster. Hilt appears to be made of horn in the style of a yataghan sword. There is a partial sticker stuck to blade. Blade has heavy oxidation.

5.) Ceremonial Kukri - 14.5" blade. 19" overall. Single edge incurved blade with a spear tip. Blade is heavily engraved with what appears to be a religious ceremony surrounded with foliage and animals including peacocks, elephants, and horses. Steel hilt is of Indian talwar style.

6.) Hippo Head Kukri - 17" blade. 20.75" overall. Large single edge incurved blade. Hilt is brass and pommel is in the shape of a laughing hippo with three silver flower mounts. Includes a wood scabbard wrapped with black leather and chiseled brass fitting.

This lot is located in Cincinnati.

Condition
All items are in about fair condition. Blades all show scattered oxidation and have mottled appearance. Hilts all show wear and light losses.
