VERY RARE PAIR OF GOLDENEYES by the Wildfowler Decoy Company, Pt. Pleasant, NJ. Excellent original paint and condition. Hollow construction. Both heads turned slightly. Retain glass eyes. Painted wing tip detail and subtle painted feather work on drake's back. Hen with painted feather detail overall. Notation on bottoms in black marker: "GOLDENEYE MALE/FEMALE, STEVE WARD MODEL, "1971", HOLLOW PINE." #1 carved in bottoms. Signed by Charles R. Birdsall. Retain crisp ink Wildfowler stamps.
