OUTSTANDING PAIR OF CANVASBACKS by the Wildfowler Decoy Company, Pt. Pleasant, NJ. Rare Madison Mitchell models in excellent original paint and condition. Very tiny paint rub to side of drake's head. Fine stipple paint to backs and painted speculums. Painted feathers on lower back. Notation on bottoms: "Madison Mitchell Model, Hollow Pine, "#1/#II" etched in bottoms. Signed by Charles R. Birdsall. Retain Wildfowler ink stamp on bottoms. 400-500
